Soon, if you like. I can get started on it now.

Quite…awkward. Especially since I know Haymitch got one of me and Katniss and who knows what he does with them when he’s drunk and we’re not looking.

I’m not sure…I did a few Harry Potter fanfics centered around Albus Potter that I still love dearly, but my favorite favorite is a tie. For a creative writing class, I wrote this story about a kid who was sick, but went around spray painting art, like really good high-class art around the city to leave some sort of legacy behind. The other one is the one I am currently writing, an epidemic breaks out and this sister and brother are trying to escape the country before they get taken by the doctors. Those are my two faves.
At first one, then another, then almost every member of the crowd touches the three middle fingers of their left hand to their lips and holds it out to me. It is and old and rarely used gesture of our district, and occasionally seen at funerals. It means thanks, it means admiration, it means good-bye to someone you love

“Katniss, you can do this.”
This is my second favorite shot from the movie. I know she’s not really supposed to be badass Katniss, but she just looks so awesome here. Like I just wanted her to stroll up to the Peacekeeper, take his weapon, knockout everyone in the hovercraft and fly off to defeat the Capitol then and there.
That’s not how I saw this part. I saw it almost sort of like The Green Mile. It’s her last walk before she enters the executioner’s room. I mean, yeah, it looks cool, but at the same time, that was all I could think about at this part.
Capitol Files - Annie Cresta
Boggs’ POV:
“They’re just kids,” I shout at her. Coin tells me it’s none of my business and I am to take her orders. I hang up, infuriated. I’m pacing around, gathering my thoughts. Isn’t it enough that they’re a pair of broken souls? This war tore them apart. She’s fighting a war much bigger than herself, and although she has conviction, it still isn’t fair. She should be home with her mother and sister. Instead, she’s shooting targets under the orders of a leader who wants her dead. And the boy… The boy doesn’t even have his sanity to hold on to anymore. I wanted to keep him as far away as possible. Now he’s here and he’s a threat. Not only to Katniss Everdeen, but also to our squad. Now I may have to kill Peeta Mellark.
There’s something like a collective sigh of regret from the semicircle of people spread out before me. Because I know this now. Because there will never be a way for me to not know this again. Because, beyond the military disadvantage losing a Mockingjay entails, I am broken.
